The CART Fund is pleased to announce follow-on funding for the research project begun by Ben Bahr, Ph.D. with a 2014 CART Grant.

USANA Health Sciences, Inc. will expand the search for protein clearance enhancers to promote healthy brain aging. This project extends the Bahr Lab studies with comparative analyses across several classes of agents.

Ben A. Bahr, Ph.D. is the William C. Friday Chair and Professor at the Biotechnology Research and Training Center, University of North Carolina – Pembroke, North Carolina.
