The Rotary Club of Fort Mill recently presented Rotary District 7750 Governor Carol Burdette a check for $30K for Alzheimer’s Research Grants from proceeds from their 2018 gala to support The CART Fund.
This club is helping District Governor Carol’s vision of donating $100K to The CART Fund this year. In fact, she promised to shave her head at the annual spring District Conference if together the 52 clubs in her District could raise $100K. With this contribution, District 7750 now stands at more than $120K with a few more months to go!
Barbara Ivey, a member of the Fort Mill club and former board member for The CART Fund, was recognized by the district governor and presented with a “Be The Inspiration Award.”
