South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley has proclaimed April 23, 2016 as ”Rotary CART Fund Day”. This honor recognizes the $5.8 M of Alzheimer’s research grants awarded by The CART Fund. It also recognizes the 10th Annual Shag Festival to be hosted that day by the Rotary Club of Georgetown, SC which benefits The CART Fund.
The CART Fund contributes to the prevention and cure of Alzheimer’s Disease through seed money Alzheimer’s research grants. One-hundred percent of every dollar donated to The CART Fund goes to Alzheimer’s research. The CART Fund is a 501(c)(3) organization.
